Railway administration — participants of the Tariff Agreement adopted the Tariff policy of railways for cargo transportation in the international communication for the freight year 2017.
Tariff policy for next year was adopted at the XXV Tariff Conference held under the chairmanship of the Management Department of Tariff policy of JSC “KTZ-Freight transport” in the city of Tsakhkadzor (Armenia).
Representatives of the railway administrations of Armenia, Belarus, Georgia, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Russia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Ukraine, Estonia, Lithuania accepted amendments to the rules of calculation of freight charges for the carriage of goods in international traffic and tariff conditions for railway administrations.
Tariff policy developed in accordance with the basic principles of the Concept of the establishment of coordinated tariff policy on rail transport of the CIS countries. The concept approved by the Council of heads of governments of Commonwealth countries in October 1996.
